The Tyldesley Club Committee have very kindly agreed to make their home field available for some BMFA events this coming year, which will add a little diversity to the calendar and showcase their club.
The first of these is a Test and Train flying day aimed at persons seeking help with or to undergo tests for virtually any of the BMFA Achievement Schemes. (Power Fixed Wing/Heli/Silent Flight).
Therefore, if you are practising for one of the tests or one of those with good intentions of doing one of the tests in 2024, your test day could be Saturday 20th April 2024 on the TMFC field (http://www.tmfc.org.uk/), which will now give you something to aim for.
Area Chief Examiners will be in attendance to offer advice, fly demonstrations and undergo the examinations along with various examiners and test candidates from other clubs within the area and a smattering of Area BMFA Officials. There should be funding from the NW Area provided to feed us for the day and although the site will be busy, there will be a chance for you to snatch a flight or two even if you are not trying to pass a cert.
So you have roughly 16 weeks to nail the manoeuvres, study the questions and if you have not already done so, pass the online RCC.
The day will operate very much as an informal fly in type of event.
